The following describes the way a business person would expect to understand "implicit" as a suffix to a business term.
implicit contract
Definition
Nonbinding commitment, such as an employer's offer of continuity of employment, wages, and working conditions in the expectation of the employee being sincere in his or her duties and in not looking for alternate employment.
In a real world situation the business users are likely to associate a "contract template" as a business tool which the authorized agent within an organization submits to a candidate on an employee offer, a potential new supplier and a potential new customer.
In some cases, a statement of work is implicit until both parties have made their edits and explicitly stated the terms and deliverables with milestones and payment schedules.
